Pattern 37 MK3 Universal Ammunition pouch (often referred to as the 'Bren' Pouch) used to carry ammunition for the rifle, also grenades and the section weapons such as the 2" Mortar and the Bren gun. The Mk3 was introduced around 1943 and was identical in most respects to the Mk2 but was marginally taller.

This new version was introduced in 1944 with a quick release buckle as was used on the 44 Pattern webbing.

This pouch are original and appear to be in unissued condition.
